Four reasons our grip leggings earn their place in the rotation.
The best riding apparel disappears into the ride. You stop noticing what you're wearing, which means your attention stays where it belongs. Our Silicone Grip Riding Leggings were built with that in mind — here is what makes them work.
-
Grip that works with you, not against you
Silicone grip reduces the micro-movements that pull your attention away from the ride. When you're not adjusting your position or compensating for slip, you can focus on feel. We reviewed a wide range of silicone patterns to land on one that holds without being restrictive, sticky, or uncomfortable in warm conditions. The result is traction that supports your position without announcing itself.
-
Comfort built into the construction
There are no buttons, no hardware, and nothing to dig in. A double waistband provides support and stays in place through transitions. Flatlock seams eliminate chafing at contact points, and the fabric itself has a four-way stretch that moves with the body and recovers its shape. This is the kind of comfort you notice only when you've ridden in something that doesn't have it.
-
Low maintenance by design
Silicone grip is significantly easier to care for than traditional suede patches. Turn the leggings inside out, wash on cold, and lay flat to dry. The fabric is quick-drying, retains its shape wash after wash, and offers UPF 50 sun protection for long days outdoors. They hold up to the reality of barn life without needing much in return.

Two styles, one standard
Full seat grip offers consistent contact from seat to knee, making it a natural choice for dressage and disciplines where depth of position is central to the work. Knee patch concentrates grip at the knee, allowing more freedom through the seat and inner thigh — preferred by many jumper and hunter riders. Both come in black and navy, with a zippered back pocket and a larger leg pocket with silicone grip to keep essentials secure through the ride.
Both styles are available now. If you have questions about fit or which option suits your discipline, we are always glad to help.
